When I typed in the URL, I typed liverjournal.com. LMAO, just thought I'd share.

So, as you can imagine, I've been extremely busy considering that I haven't posted here in Lord knows how long. Between my school work, dance, and helping my mom with teaching/house stuff I've barely had time to just breathe, but I'm just happy that we have off tomorrow.

Damn, I just looked back and realized that my last entry was written before I even started school . . . wowww. Okay, update on my teachers:

Mr. Husar- History is going to be fun this year, I can tell. Mr. Husar is such a cool, down-to-earth guy and I love listening to him talk. He has so much enthusiasm- that's good for me since I have a tendency to daydream during History, LOL.

Mr. Sislian- Enough said. I think everyone knows who this guy is by now. As much as I miss Mr. Brady, Sis is freakin' hilarious. "Shark drives bus into teacher's home!" "STROKE, STROKE!" "We need to catch the reader's attention with our words? So, what, should we say shitfuckfuck???" BAHAHAHAHA, I love this man.

Mrs. Koenig- She's a former Humanities teacher, so of course she's a little out there but she's funny AND she lets us listen to music while we work. She makes fun of how one kid in our class listens to his iPod so loud that he can't hear anything. "Mina, you smell like a monkeyyyyyy." :P My only problem is that I can't do abstract work. I signed up for Intro to Illustration- not Abstraction for Experts.

Mr. Kenny- I still don't know what to make of him. All I know is that I'm going to become a much better writer by the end of the year because that's all he keeps reiterating to us. Oh, and everyone gets a C first quarter in his class and he picks on me a lot. He's so satirical. I think I'll grow to like him eventually.

Sr. Peña- Oh. My. God. Okay, show of hands-- who does NOT hate him? No one. That's what I thought. What an asshole. He should not be allowed to teach AP.

Mr. Pazinko- Poor Pazinko. Everyone makes fun of him. He's a nice guy, just a little scatterbrained. I wonder if he realizes that everyone laughs at him in class. And as Mythili said today, "I thought PreCalc was Pre-Calculus, not Post-Algebra." Go figure.

Mrs. Anderson- Ohhhh man, I love her. I actually like Physics which I did not expect. She favors the girls so much. :P I love all of her little analogies that end up with either hurting or killing one of the boys in our class. "Okay, so Mina pushes off a space station and he is not tethered to it. Casey has the rope, but she's too busy to go after him. So, Mina keeps drifting out into space because of the lack of inertia." "Dona and Mina are standing on a roof and Dona drops Mina off of it. He has an acceleration of -10 m/s^2." Bahahahahaha. :P Mina takes quite a beating everyday.

Ms. Takacs- She hasn't changed since last year. She's still very quiet, but I still love her anyway. She's very sweet. I did triple pirouettes today in her class. I am so proud of myself. :D

Dance has been very interesting so far this year at the Dance Carousel. It's my 10th year there, 11th year dancing all together- yayyyyy for me. : ) I think all of my training is finally paying off this year. That, and all those hours of watching SYTYCD, have had a big impact on my technique and suddenly I can do all of these more difficult steps easily. What's up with that???? I'm glad I decided to take lyrical this year, because Miss Karen has been getting some great ideas for different choreography and it's a great class to take to work on stylizing your dancing which is what I want to do. We started our dance to "Out Here On My Own" from Fame last night and it's really cool. I'm very excited to see what we're learning next. :D

Ballet has been the same deal as last year, except I'm considered the senior in the class now. The student teacher and her cousin left and the troupe students are gone, so I'm the oldest and most experienced. It's a little scary to think that I've been dancing with Miss Karen for seven years now. She's literally seen me grow up. She somehow knew who I was when I started out as a beginner jazz student in second grade (probably because that was the year my dad died). Then she saw my audition for troupe twice, get rejected and accepted once, and then made me cry MANY times in class during troupe because I sucked when I started. I used to hate her and now she's my favorite dance teacher that I've ever had. Wowwww, I'm getting all mushy here. Anyway, she's more of a friend than a teacher to me lately. We poke fun at each other a lot. I can do no wrong with her. Even when I come in late she's just glad that I'm there. My technique and my strength have gotten so much better in this class, too. We're dancing to "Kiss Me Kate" for the recital. Should be . . . ummmmm . . .interesting?

Kathryn's hip hop class is a dream come true. THERE'S REAL TECHINQUE THERE!!! YESSSSSSSSSSS. At first our class started out with 18 kids and it grew every week until finally last week with 25 kids they split the class. Nine of us moved to Monday nights (all of the well-behaved hard workers, thankfully) and we love it. Kathryn loosened up as well as the rest of us with more space and less noise to dance with. The other girls were so bitchy and talked all the time. Now we can at least relax. I think I'm in love with Kathryn's warm up. She stretches and works every muscle in our bodies- it's amazing. We stretch a lot and we do push ups and jumping jacks and jogging and we do this extremely long set of sit ups which are not necessarily fun or easy, but I feel good doing them. Plus, my abs are starting to get hard already. Maybe I'll have a six-pack by the end of the year. That might be cool. :P

Sooooo, my day off tomorrow, you ask? Pirate lunch and "running errands" with Mythili and Stacey at the mall and plans are still up in the air with Mr. Liebman who I need to call in about an hour. I should get started on my homework, but will I? . . . Probably not. Maybe I'll do Math or Physics just to get it out of the way . . . maybe not.

<lj:music>"(When You Gonna) Give It Up To Me" by Sean Paul</lj:music>

Wow, I've been busy. Well, more like we've been busy. Today is Mom's second day at school and the first day with the students. I'm just crossing my fingers that everything goes smoothly. It's bad enough that she may have broken her toe (she dropped the hair dryer on her foot yesterday and now her little toe is very swollen and painful). I have to say though, my mom's students have some very interesting names. Her last period class wins the award for the most original names . . . Jesswen, Awrones, Norman, Placido . . . wow. I think she'll have fun this year, though. She's so good at talking on the spot and making kids feel important- she'll be fine. Thank God she also has a good team that she's working with this year. The other teachers in her section of the hallway are SO nice and are willing to help her. Just yesterday the teacher she's teaching study skills with helped carry all of her modules to her classroom because of her foot.

She came home in a lot of pain yesterday, so we wound up at the Dance Carousel to pick up herbs from Miss Jeanne for her toe and I registered. :) In other news . . .

I START DANCE AGAIN ON MONDAY!!!!!!!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!! :D

So, I'm clearly excited, LOL. I have ballet/lyrical on Monday and ballet and hip hop on Thursdays again like last year. Too bad I won't have Sofiya and Michelle in my classes this year, but I'm sure Anna and Kristine will stay. I'm just praying I won't be bored/stuck with the younger troupe kids in ballet/lyrical. Whatever. I'll just drop it if I hate it. Miss Jeanne's daughter is teaching hip hop this year. Should be interesting. : ) In the words of Miss Jeanne, "You'll do hip hop but it will be classy." LMAO, whatever that means. As if hip hop is supposed to be classy, hahahaha. Maybe we'll do hip hop to R&B music? I would die for that. :D

Well, I gotta get in the shower and do some SERIOUS summer reading today and maybe do the math assignment or I'm never going to get it all done. : / Lord knows I'll be busy when Mom comes home this afternoon. I have to finish up her attendance book. : )

John Mayer concert in FOUR days!!!! :D Eeeeeeeeeeeeee so excited!!!! PLUSSSSSSSSSSSS MYTHILI IS HOMEEEEEEE!!!!! Could this day get any better? . . . Actually it could, but I won't get into that.

Travis Wall lost So You Think You Can Dance. What a waste of a season! Stupid Benji doesn't even want to do the Celine Dion show now. Pshhhhh. Travis was such a genius. I've never seen contemporary choreography like his . . . or Allison's, for that matter. She was robbed, too. : / (the people in my icon, for those of you who are ignorant of the best show on television). Sure, Benji's very talented, but he's already very Hollywood and he's too goofy. Travis was goofy, but he knew when to be serious. Benji's solos were boring, too. They were the same West Coast Swing kick things everytime. You never knew what to expect from Travis. :'( On another note, the finale was fantastic!!! The Top 20 hip hop routine choreographed by Shane Sparks was brilliant. It was great to see Allison and Ivan dance together again, as well as Travis and Martha with their Broadway routine. TRAVIS NEEDS TO COME TO NYC AND GO ON BROADWAY!!!!!!!!

Well, camp ended last week. There were plenty of tears, let me tell you . . . almost all of them from one camper, LOL. Brittany and I finished our gifts despite both of us getting sick, thank goodness, and the girls flipped for them. Hopefully I'll get some calls for baby-sitting soon. : D

I am the new owner of an iPod nano now. My stupid pink iPod died on me so I had to PAY FOR A NEW ONE WITH MY OWN MONEY. There goes half of my summer earnings. : / I love it and I see a huge difference in terms of the sound quality, but I'm pissed that my grandparents screwed me by not buying a warranty for my first one. They suck.

Speaking of them, I had to sit through lunch with them yesterday because it was their birthdays . . . yes, both of them. My grandfather's was yesterday and my grandmother's was today. It's kind of good that we can get both of them over with in one visit.

I went to the Center for the first time in God knows how long for a Qi Gong combined class and meditation. We wound up taking advertisement shots for our class. Of course when Vinnie found out he had to start making jokes- "Ooh, a photoshoot? Let me go fix my hair!" to which brother-in-law Michael replied with, "You have to go find your hair first." BAHAHAHAHA! So, we took pictures doing the exercises and so on, and then we busted out the drums and did Qi Dancing which I HATE WITH A PASSON. It wasn't too bad this time, though. We just did it without Master Lu stopping and yelling at us that we're doing it wrong. The best part of all of this is watching Corey play the drums . . .because he is a nerdy Jewish boy. : P I love it. Corey, Michael Shu, Sonny, Carlton, and Master Lu need to make a CD. Anyway, of course the same people were asking crazy questions and we can't POSSIBLY get through a meeting without at least three questions from Roselle. Somehow we got into a conversation about potatoes which then caused me to laugh to the point of tears . . . and everyone else laughed . . . at me. LMAO, I love these people.

<lj:music>"Gotta Get Thru This (Acoustic)" by Daniel Bedingfield</lj:music>

BEACH TOMORROW!!! YESSSSSSSSSSS! So excited. I haven't been to the beach since camp took us to Point Pleasant two years ago. Finally hanging out with Kaitlin, Stepher, and Kyle again, so I'm majorly happy. Camp has really cut into my social life these past few weeks.

My mom FINALLY bought a new car, so that whole ordeal is over, thank God. Sure, Infinitis are somewhat flashy cars, but she'll be happy with it and at least she won't kill her knee. We're picking it up Monday.

We'll also be picking my permit up on Monday! I finished my six hours today and I've improved drastically, LOL. I was struggling a bit, but Sheila helped me tremendously. Now the question is if my mom will let me practice in the new car . . . my guess is not.

Well, only one week of camp left. I'm sad, yet relieved at the same time. I absolutely LOVE my kids, but I don't love my co-workers. They're very cliquey and gossip about everyone. They don't even interact with the kids much. It really bothers me. Shallowness pisses me off. I'm also glad that it's almost over because I'm getting very tired. I suffered from my allergies this week and my back is a mess. The only friends I had there anyway were Dave and Brittany and I'll see them at school. Brittany and I decided to make friendship bracelets and picture frames for our kids so we'll be busy with that for awhile during our breaks.

Last Comic Standing 4 ended this week and Josh Blue won!! I'm so proud and happy for him. People with disabilities can do anything. : )

So You Think You Can Dance is winding down this week, too. I'm extremely sad. Not only because it's ending, but I can't go see them all on tour because my mom won't go during the week and the one show on the weekend is in Lancaster. :'( Can anyone who's going let me go along?? Pleeeease? Anyway, Travis Wall had BETTER WIN or I'm convinced that the show has turned into a personality contest, which is sad.

If anyone actually reads this, please leave me a comment?

Soooooooooooooooo, 100 degrees today . . . fun? Not really. Especially when the group didn't want to listen to Brittany and I. Hannah Miller + cornflakes with no milk + uncontrollable laughter = two extremely frustrated counselors and one rowdy group. This girl can't control herself. I asked her three times to tone her energy down and then I had to address the entire group. She complained the whole day about how much her finger hurt, so that further worsened my temper.

I don't understand how my kids didn't want to go in the sprinklers on a day like today. I think Brittany and I wanted to walk through them more than they did. At least Nicole was absent . . . she would have been bitching all day.

I had to look after the archery elective today with Scott (which pretty much meant I had to do it myself) and only one girl and all boys. There is nothing more than I hate at camp than kids who mock me when I ask them nicely to do something. Repeating what I say in a sarcastic tone is not a way to get on my good side, let me tell you. I thought I was totally making friends with all of the boys- we had a good conversation going- and then all of the sudden one of them snaps and decides to tell me that there's a bug around me and starts smacking me. I can totally see why the boys are out of control though- the guy counselors don't do anything. They don't know how to discipline the kids. Three of the boys were practically wrestling each other today and Scott just sat there and watched them. I'm so sick of it.

The only boys that I actually like are the ones in my cooking elective this week. Two of them know me from the last time that I had cooking and they respect me. The others are mellow for the most part. One of them, Ari, who was actually the one who tried to shoot an arrow at another kid at archery a few weeks ago, was the sweetest one! He was SO polite! Everytime he asked me for something, he used his manners and was so nice. I treated him well in return by telling Jennifer to let him measure ingredients first. The other guys were clearly jealous and calmed down which was certainly appreciated. As for tomorrow, I have computers in the air conditioning first thing in the morning which I am definitely happy about.

Jason and I deemed the bench outside of the nurse's office our bench since we're always there waiting for our kids together. We miss SpongeBob, LOL.

On another note, my mom got a call for a final interview with the personnel department from New Brunswick, which almost definitely means that they're calling her in to sign the papers to be a teacher! I cried when she told me- I was so happy. After all the shit we went through- my mom getting sick, my grandparents harassing us, no one giving us a hand when we needed it, the losses, the scares, the what-ifs, and the mishaps- the uphill battle is finally over. And just to think about where she came from . . . all the emergency trips to the hospital when Master Lu was on vacation, the time she came home from the conference and couldn't breathe, the time when I came home to find a note on the door that she had to go to Master Lu's office with severe palpitations . . . all the times I thought I would lose her and never see her again. No more denied or cut paychecks, no more schools with cut budgets, no more having to worry about books out of stock, no more asshole bosses- she's finally doing what she was meant to do.

PS- I figured out that people who aren't LJ members can comment using the "anonymous" button at the bottom so feel free to do so. :)

Okay, so even though I know no one can post comments unless they join livejournal, I miss writing so I figured this was a good way to get myself back on track with a journal. Plus, I can't exactly use my xanga anymore since my grandfather found it. Pshhhhhhhhh.

So I had to stay home from camp today, because I woke up looking like the Hunchback of Notre Dame. I have never had so much pain in my neck before that I couldn't stand up straight. Not only could I not turn my head, but I could feel all of the muscles pulling in my back. When it starts to mess with my back, that's when I get upset. I'm always worried about my scoliosis, so I wound up running to the chiropractor for my first ever electric stim treatment . . . it was interesting. Sure, it relaxed me a lot but it really felt weird. He put these warm moist pads on my back and neck and then put something on top of them that vibrated. Now, is it just me or do moisture and electricity don't mix? I was sure I was going to get electricuted at any moment. :/ Afterward when Dr. Bellizzi tried to physically crack my back into place, he had a bit of trouble. I always get freaked out whenever he goes to snap my neck a certain way because he always bends it farther than I think my neck is capable of going and then some. He had to tell me to wiggle my toes to catch me off guard, LOL. As if I didn't know he was trying to distract me. :P I'm just praying that I don't wake up tight again tomorrow. I hate missing work.

Gotta go shower before Last Comic Standing comes on. I found a hilarious video from when they had to heckle each other a few weeks ago. :) Goooooo Josh Blue!
http://youtube.com/watch?v=rZmPqArZicw&search=last%20comic%20standing
